The 2007 Tillamook County Fair will end again with a giant Demolition Derby. The Fair Board realizes the popularity of this event and what a crowd pleaser it has become. The Demolition Derby will be promoted again this year locally by HAVOC Productions. They have done a great job the last nine years. The Demolition Derby held during the Tillamook County Fair is rather unique in that most entries come from local participants. These participants spend the months before the fair getting many Tillamook County businesses to help sponsor their car and proudly display their names all over their car.

The action begins with the crowd picking the “Best of Show” car. The winning entry will receive $100.00 and a trophy. Cars will then begin smashing and crashing in three action-packed heats to determine which cars will be in the Giant Demolition Derby Final. Cars will be demolished intentionally! Winning entries in each heat will receive $50 and a trophy. 2nd place will receive $25.00 and a trophy. 3rd and 4th places receive trophies.

In the Main Event, the excitement continues until only one car is left running. Participants will be vying for over $1,700.00 in prize money with $750.00 going to the winner.
